Description
This handthrown pottery bread crock is available with a ceramic lid or wooden board. Expertly crafted at White Horse Pottery in Wiltshire, each bread crock is individually thrown on the wheel by a skilled potter, then glazed and fired using traditional methods. The boards are made in Somerset from quarter sawn english oak. This gives them their distinctive appearance as well as making them less likely to warp over time. They have been finished with a food safe wax and oil mixture to enhance the grain and prolong the life of the timber.
